Deepak ThiagaRajan, MD, is a highly regarded board-certified primary care internist. Dr. Thiaga Rajan provides primary care and geriatric medicine services at Rajan Medical Group for adults in and around the Inland Empire. He takes a holistic, patient-centered approach to managing acute and chronic health conditions.
Dr. ThiagaRajan earned his medical degree at St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He continued his internal medicine training with a residency at Norwalk Hospital - Yale School of Medicine in Norwalk, Connecticut. Dr. ThiagaRajan also received his geriatric medicine fellowship training at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University’s Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island.
Prior to starting his private practice, Dr. ThiagaRajan served as the medical director for several hospitals throughout California. He co-authored multiple published medical articles that outline geriatric health concerns, including chronic disease management and elder abuse. Dr. ThiagaRajan also was a featured speaker at Brown University and Yale University hospitals and area senior centers.
Dr. ThiagaRajan was a recipient of the West Indies International Peace scholarship for multiple years and earned the United Kingdom’s International Award of His Royal Highness Duke of Edinburgh in 1996. When not serving his patients, he volunteers his medical expertise by providing geriatric health assessments to the local community.
